Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers Dec.1 2014

Can you believe it is December already. Count down to Christmas. Was wondering what I can bless the small tribal churches with up in the North and Samai, had the answer. Got hold of a few Compact Solar units with a small battery and 4 lights that can last 8 hours of light, plus it can charge any device from cellphone to ipad etc. Come with 1 or 2 small panels for charging in the day and all of that for a whopping $45 each. Now we can give a small church the chance to teach by light as well as do studies by light, where they had to rely on candles and flashlights etc.

Also got a few small Radio/speaker, slot for a Micro SD card as well as a USB port, can be played through a bigger speaker or earphones, charge like cellphone so Solar is good.(anything from 5-8$ , on the left) Even got a another bad boy who have Bluetooth/Micro SD card, charge like cellphone so solar would work. ( from 13-25$)
Load the Micro SD card up with Khmer or Jarai Bible teachings as well as videos. Micro SD cards can be put into Android phones, which almost everyone have here and with a Bluetooth device, can be played without any wires. Then you can even look at a video of the Bible. (card 2g $4.50 and teachings and Bible for free on internet) You can get these guys in any color or any type, even Angry Birds style.......

Cheap ways to help the believers in the tribal as well as Khmer church, who cannot read the bible but can listen to it. This is only to strengthen the believers, while the pastors are not there. By no means do I make church planting or teaching believers cheap, no, there is a place and time for everything. Together with this technology these days we can just help people to know more, especially the ones that cannot read and write around us, which Cambodia have plenty off.
Please pray for the Warrens, with 5 children, from SA, who is currently making there way over to Cambodia. They take the long way around and will be here on the 3rd of December. Already got them a house to stay, as well as a great landlady and surroundings. God provides, even fits in the budget. They will be very tired when they arrive and will just stay here with us for a day or 2.
My leg is doing better and can move around much easier already. Thanks for all your prayers. Seems to me I got the infections under control.
Continue to pray for the students in Prey Tom as they are not coming so regularly anymore. Pray for the upcoming Christmas party in Ampul Pean that even the parents will be receptive to hear about Christ.

Had a wonderful weekend with our friends Grahame and Katy Dyer and family plus Ben and Hannah and Samai that came and visit. They helped me to finish a couch I wanted to make long ago. I was sanding the whole week and when they came , they could just fit it together. Looks pretty beautiful.

Thank you very much for all your prayers
