Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan,Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages up in the far North of Cambodia, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors as well as the Department of Health of Ratanakiri.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Homeschooling Gideon is a task not for sissies, while Anton is in Eli school. .She joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers March 25 2013

Dear friends and family
Have been so encouraged while looking at the life of Joseph during devotions with Gideon this week. We are learning about the big word "ENDURANCE" (from  1 Peter 2 :19-23). Please be encouraged from Gideon's memory verse for this week"The Lord is good to everyone who trusts in Him" (Lamentations 3:25) He loves having to find the verses in the Bible and then underlining it once he can remember it.

1. Mordegai is going on a 4 day outreach tomorrow into Ratanakirri with a Kmer pastor, Samai to reach new villages where there are no christian cell groups or church. Pray for them as they go into new territory, for protection, guidance, favor with the people. Please pray also for the bike, it caught fire on the previous outreach. Praise God for His protection. This specific place, Samai already planted a little church and we will do some outreach to the local believers.

2. Toinette is starting the Women Health teachings with FGC Community Link to 2 villages on Saturdays and Sundays   Please lift this time up to the Lord, during which we share and love on the women.  For His Holy Spirit to minister to the women and clear communication.

3. Mordegai's hands are not doing well, it is stiff and swollen, he has difficulty closing his fingers. Please pray for healing.

4. We are so thankful to God for being here in Siem Reap, having a big yard and a big kitchen (the stove can fit into the kitchen now and Twans don't have to cook out of the garage anymore), looking out at rice paddies and hearing a cow next door. It is really refreshing to be out of the city and we thank our Heavenly Father. He gives us what we need when we need it !
