Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers Feb.18'2013

Bought a beautiful piece of Teak wood from a friend last week on an outreach. Wanted to make something nice of it. The top was burned black, while the bottom showed the original color . So this afternoon I decided to get rid of the black.....My big Sander was chewing its way through the black mess and I became black as well. I could see some color of the wood appear but could not continue as there were to much dust around. Next thing, I took the hose and water off the whole piece of wood as well as me. Now I can see that I still need to do some work to get to the core of the wood's original color. Makes me think......
That is how God get us, black from the outside till the core. It cost a lot of work to get to the core and original human that is suppose to be us. But God is a good carpenter.. He takes His time working bit by bit to get us clean, till we are shiny.......Like the wood, we are made in God's image but need some Sanding to keep us clean. Thank you God for taking time to sand us down.  He has delivered us from the punishment of sin,  He is delivering us from the power of sin and  He will deliver us one day of the presence of sin when He returns.

1. Please pray earnestly with us for Channee, the man with the horrible wound in his groin. I've been going to tend his wound for some time and then someone gave money for him to go to the hospital again.  I went today to go and ask is he is still in the hospital, but then heard he never went, went to their home town. So tomorrow I will go and search for him. I'm feeling discouraged but also know that we must make the effort and search for him, show him over and over again he is worth all our effort because God's love compels us. Pray for his salvation.

2. For the staff of Full Gospel Community Link as they faithfully go out every day to go and teach the children English and especially for the Values classes on Sundays. For open doors and open hearts and favor in the community.

3. The growing church in Torpeang Rosey - for protection of the new believers, unity and that the pastor would truly look up to God.

4. I am off again on Wednesday to Kabal Domrey by bike. Please pray for safety on these roads that is like a warzone. Pray that God will be with us when we help the sick and give good old TLC to people that need it so much. Pray that they will see God's love in such a simple way.

Thank you very much.
Love
Mordegai
