Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers Nov.12 '2012

A Hearty welcome to you all on this nice Monday. Thank goodness for the bit of rain that we got as we thought we will die of the heat. Man this place is boiling and your sweat glands are working overtime. Nice to lay down at night and wake up just to realize your bed is soaking wet from your own sweat, hmmm makes me think back many years.....

It is great to see how the Lord is providing for us in our simple needs. We found a house in Siem Riep and cannot ask for more. Wow such a huge place and the prize is the same than here in Phnom Penh. This is a mansion comparing to what we had now. It is 7km out of town and surrounded by rice fields, just as the doctor ordered. I can also start fish farming as it have fishponds in the back, they used it to raise crocodiles.......needles to say the boys like that idea. We will still move by around Dec.20 as that will be the Christmas break at Hope.

We are also waiting for Suzaan to come and visit us in December and we know that we will have a blast with her here. Looking forward to spend quality time with our daughter. Please pray for her as she is writing her 3th year exams.

We took the bikes and shot up to Kabal Domrey again. this time we even had a small Dailim 110cc with us. Man this guy kicked dust in all our eyes. thank God that we could visit my friend in Relose and gave him some needed Tb drugs. He had drugs already for 5 months but cannot go to the doctor again. Everyone here ask bribe money to been seen and he do not have any money. He have a serious Tb of the Spine and can barely walk. I will go and check on him from time to time.
Could also help some people with bad Malaria and as I am a professional in that field it help me to recognized it. thanks to my old friend Uncle Robin for the drugs he gave me.

Pray for our outreach again on Wednesday as I will take some young people from Youth Call out to the bush. Check out their webpage: http://youthcall.org/2012/10/medical-outreach-to-the-jungle-with-mordegai/

We hope to see some of you here with us in this last bit of the year or the next year. We want to extend a warm invitation for you to come and visit and experience God's work at hand here in Cambodia. So there I said it, the invitation is out, so come.

As always
