Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Whatever Lord Aug 2012

After, what feels like the longest time ever holiday, we are back again in one piece, trying to sort out our lives on this side of the globe. Getting use to time change and heat is in the order of the day as our bodies scream in all directions.

We had a very good holiday in Namibia and visits with family and friends did us well. Praise God that we could leave Oupa Kallie in good hands, with my brother and sister always looking out for them. Thanks for all your prayers for my dad. He is doing so much better and seems to be normal all the time. We pray that God will heal him from his cancer.

We also had a good time visiting our church and people around that. It is always encouraging to see how committed they are towards us and that they really love us as their missionaries. Being committed for 17 years in a row, says it all. Thank you NG Moedergemeente Windhoek for being a church that we can feel home too.

It was also a great time with our daughter, Suzaan, visiting us in Namibia and then seeing her again in Johannesburg just to top it off. We thank God for His protection on Suzaan and her life. We had such times with each other and really grow close as a family supposes to be. So sad to say goodbye again, but we know that it is not for long, and then we will see each other again.

Back here at home in Cambodia, we are sorting out all our stuff at home and ready us for schooling the kids. Anton is back at school and Toinette already started school with Gideon. As far as decisions to move, we will move to Siem Riep by December as it is school holidays then and a natural break for the boys. We first must look for a place as well to stay.

So meanwhile we continue our life here in Phnom Penh and continue to serve the people in the province with a new zeal.

Please pray for us for protection on health issues. Mordegai is having High Blood pressure since home and need to check on it regularly.
Gideon is always in our prayers as he struggles daily with new challenges in life.

Love to all
Rossouw-clan
