Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers Aug 15'11

Well we made it through the first 2 weeks of being back in Camboland. Needles to say how much rain already fell here, but I still could not resist to go and try my luck. We got stuck so many times that we decided to go back home and try another day. for 2 days we tried to get through to Phnom Chi but got stuck in really bad mud. Anyone up for some real mudden in Cambodia?? Well then this place is for you right now.......... I am on my way this Wednesday by bike and it will be easier to get in as the locals build some small roads through the forest over the bad muddy parts. All you need to do is to pay your way over.....

Toinette is in the thick of things as well and doing good with some clinic work. She had to make some hard decisions by pulling herself out of teaching the students with Ingrid. things just not work out and we believe that we rather stop than make bad friends. At this time the students are still coming for their practical to the clinic. SO Toinette have some time on her hands but need to catch up with some Admin work on the clinic. We thank God for a good meeting with Ingrid.

The children is in school and with new teachers they also survive the first week, I mean the teachers! Gideon is testing out the teachers in his class right now, so we ask your prayers for that. Anton is just not happy in school as he do not think it's fair to go to school but he is learning a lot. We started tonight with our first exercise in the yard and turn out that we got the boys to sweat. All of us need a bit of exercise.

We want to ask prayer for Ouma Paula( Toinette's mom) as her youngest sister suddenly past away over the weekend. She is in Cape town with her other sisters to help out. Mordegai's sister, Elizma is already back at work and we thank God for healing her after a very difficult operation. Talk to my parents last night and both of them are doing fine.

Thank you very much for praying for us all. We really need it and cannot do without it. Please check out the latest pictures as well as a Video of my trip into the jungles. Just follow the links below.
