Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Monday night prayers April 4




Hey there everyone

Well it is holiday here in Camboland for the children as it is almost Khmer New Year. Next week the whole of Cambodia will be closed as they celebrating their New Year. Everyone from the city will be on their way to the province soon and traffic will be a nightmare. We will have Phnom Penh for ourselves as nobody stay behind this time of the year.

Please pray for the following:

Pray for Srey Nite as she cannot decide if she want to keep baby Boaz or not. At this moment she want to use us for a babysitting-service as she wanted to leave the baby till he is 2 years old and then she will come and pick him up and give him to her mother in law, who is very old and doesn't want him!!! Pray also for baby Channy as she is now 1,5 months old and weight 1,4kg . Her mom is really taking good care of her as she is very concerned for her . She is so small that she barely can suck well enough and do not get enough milk. All the energy goes to be alive and she do not gain weight properly. She was born premature at 30 weeks and was released from hospital as she could breath on her own.

Please pray for the lady whose husband left her when she was pregnant with her 3rd child. She is now living in the Temple under really bad conditions. She is not doing good and Toinette is really concerned about her health. Food is really hard to come by daily and she is eating regularly.

Pray also for Toinette's hip. She fell a while ago and ever sins have some really bad pain to cope with.

We are at home and try to keep the boys company as they have 2 weeks of holiday. This is a task not for sissies.The boys are energetic as usual and mum need to stand guard in the kitchen as the hunger is ever present. We praise God that we can have so much time with our children and can be so blessed as a family.
