Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers Nov.08'2010

Good to say hey again on a Monday. Wow seems to me the year is on its back now and the days are running away from us. Soon it will be Xmas again. So strange not to be in the Philippines where Xmas already starts in September!! Have some Pinoys here from Samal Island in Davao-city and must say it's nice to speak my favorite language. Angela from Malaysia have a team over from Philippines and it's such a joy to around all the Pinoys.

Thank God for His provision. For a while now, I am praying that God will send me a sponsor for a motorbike out to the provinces. Got some money today from a friend that want to give to churches in Cambodia.I can buy a bike and also support the lay-pastor for 1 year for his work. Wow, she is also a missionary and want to bless the Cambodian church, just what we need. So I will buy a bike asap for our friend in the province. He will go out 2x a week to Thor Piang Rosey and encourage the few believers there. There are still a lot of villages without such priveledge of someone to come and visit them. If you want to get involved, let me know and we can make a plan. The water is going down after the flood and soon we will be in remote villages again where there are no Christians. Our aim is to equip the local pastors with means to reach the people, where nobody else want to go . Praise God for His provision and His timing.

Tomorrow I am going out accompanied by Reinette, with some folks from the USA. They are Dentists and also care for people in eye-care. Reinette is my student in IPHC and she is doing so well.I want her to get more practical knowledge in order to be better equipped for the job .We will be out also on Wednesday and Thursday in some villages out in the provinces. Pray for the team to see the need ahead of them. Pray for our safe travels o roads that can be so dangerous with drivers that do not honor life.

Praise God for the ladies from Toinette's clinic, that attend a small church group, run by some friends of ours at the dump. God is really working under these people. Thank you also to God for His provision in giving support for Vanessa to start a small project in training some girls in sewing. This way they can make a bit extra to buy the food they need. PEople are really hungry for food as well as spiritual food. We pray that this will help some girls.

Toinette ask to pray for a Christian Khmer midwife to come and help. In order for them to get the proper permission to deliver babies, they need a qualified Khmer midwife to help them. Pray for the right person to come and help. Pray for the little clinic that is bursting out of it's seams. there are a lot of foreigners helping but only 2 Khmer staff. We pray that we can have more locals helping.

Thank you very much for praying for us. May god bless you all in this week to come. Please, please, write to us. We do not get a lot of replies, show us wrong.

Love from all the Rossouws
