Uncle Pentalion

Cora took Mordegai to her neighbor and said the uncle has a problem with his leg for more than a year now. He has very poor bloodsirculation caused by smoking too much. He

stepped into some sticks and this developed into gangrene in his one foot. The other foot had a black toe as well. Took him to the doctor, who amputated the three toes, but two days after the operation we saw that something was wrong. The rest of the foot was black. Three days after that they amputated the leg under the knee.

I can only imagine what kind of pain he had but he was always in a good spirit and so sweet to work with. So thankful for the help. Make you feel so special but God is the one who need to be thanked. A Doppler test shown that he have no more bloodcirculation in his legs but we prayed that God will intervene and He was faithful. With careful medicines and hard work from their side the manage to spair the other toe, Praise God.

Meanwhile he is doing good and thank to God there is no pain. The leg is healing well and we're looking forward to the day that he also can receive a artificial leg. We pray that uncle Pentalion and his family will come to know God through this. We pray that they will join the bible study at Elvin and Cora's house.

Update on Uncle Pantaljon: Another year passed sinse we made him a deal to buy a artificial leg. We made another deal and this time he had to pay such a small amout that he could not refuse it anymore. Scott bought a pig from him and he gave the money. We took him to Lady of Victory to make the leg. The first 2 times were difficult but after a lot of encouragements from the helpers, he made it.

What a day it was when we walked out of the grounds, me with the cruthes and he with his new leg. Praise God. Since then he never looked back and by now the leg need some repairs. He is walking so much that the leg cannot keep up. God gave him back that was taken away from him 3 years ago. Praise God.

Sad to say but the day came when he was walking and just slams down. He was died when he hid the ground. A massive heartattack ends his life and that only 6 months after he got a second chance. We were so priveledge to give him back his life even it was such a short time. God is good to give back people's lives that was stolen from them.
