Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Ate Tarzin

One sad department of our ministry is that we are working with people that die. Such one was Aunti Tarzin. We helped her like 2 years ago with a very bad diabetes injury. They amputate her leg but it became very bad. She was out of hospital and by that time she was living with her daughter, Jikjik. All of us helped her out and by the end the wound was healed. We also helped by giving the needed medicines for diabetes. Sad to say she neglected to take the medicines correctly. Although we warned her of the consequences. Well in January she had a stroke and that made things turn bad for her. She finally gave up the fight and we went to her funeral on March 17. It is so sad to see the family standing in front of a grave and put a mother to rest. Our job is not finished yet as we still reach out to Jikjik and Christopher. Jikjik is pregnant and Toinette and Carla are taking care of her during the pregnancy. They will also be the ones to deliver the baby.

God gave us this family and we must continue and not look back. Pray for Jikjik and Christopher as they are also planning to get married soon. Thank God that Christopher got another job as he was laid of after Estrada went out. He is looking very good after Jikjik.

As the years went by we had been part of this family in may ways. We invited them to our little Saterday celebrations we had in the clinic. In one of the meetings they accepted Christ. We were there when Jikjik and Christopher got married, we were there when their first son,CJ, was born. Toinette was the one who did all her prenatal and delivered CJ. HE grown up to be a healthy little young boy and always came with his dad when he work in my house. They were our faithful neighbors living in a small room next to our house.

This an example of how we get involve in a whole family, when we help someone close by. Being involved in our neighbors proved to be vidal where we live. God used our presence in our neighborhood many times and showed us to be kind to our fellow neighbors.

To God all the Glory
